For more than a decade, I've worked with children in many different roles: as a Waldorf and Reggio Emilia teacher, a social-emotional learning teacher in elementary public schools, a preschool teacher, a psychotherapist intern in an equine-assisted therapy program, an expressive arts mentor, a holistic chef in an early childhood program, and, most importantly, as a nanny.
Each experience has given me a deeper understanding of children's unique way of experiencing the world: how they learn, connect, regulate emotions, express themselves, imagine, and grow.
Alongside my rich professional background, I bring my lifelong love of art, music, ritual, movement, and nature into the everyday rhythm of caring for children.
Working as a nanny with children allows me to bring all of these experiences together.
I currently have one part-or-full time opening for a family who values intentional, thoughtful, relationship-centered care and who is looking for a trusted partner in their child's development.
Let’s connect !
What guides me
The early Years shape a Lifetime
Children’s brains and nervous systems
are constantly building neural pathways.
The presence, guidance,
and relationship that they experience
from their nanny carries profound influence.
It is a great responsibility and privilege to walk alongside children during this time.
Everything exists in Relationship
Children are born prepared to
learn through relationships.
Before they understand language,
they understand relationship.
Their nervous system is constantly asking
“Am I safe here?”
When the answer is yes,
remarkable things become possible.
Emotions
are Portals
When emotions are welcomed with
curiosity and care, children learn that
every feeling has something to teach them.
A central part of my care is
helping children develop emotional literacy.
The Environment
is the Teacher
Children are constantly absorbing information.
The question is never whether children are learning.
The question is:
“What is the environment teaching them?”
As a nanny, the environment I create for children directly shapes their emotional regulation, executive functioning, stress physiology, social learning, and future relationships.
Which is a huge honor & responsibility.
That’s why I create environments where
children feel emotionally safe, intellectually curious, creatively inspired, and deeply understood.
Creativity is
how Children make Meaning
Creativity is often
mistaken for artistic talent.
In reality, creativity is one of
the brain’s primary ways of
understanding experience.
Long before children have words for
excitement, grief, or hope,
the draw them
build them
invent stories about them
& transform them into imaginary worlds
where difficult feelings become dragons,
forests, rivers, and adventures.
Art is giving children
a language for becoming themselves.

Curiosity shapes Confidence and Intelligence
Healthy development depends less on
giving children answers than on protecting
their instinct to keep asking questions.
When curiosity is preserved, children develop
confidence in their own thinking
and discover that uncertainty is something
to explore rather than to fear.
